The Roundtree, Amagansett

You’re invited to the Hamptons. No need to panic, “I have nothing to wear.”

This Hamptons experience is an invitation to unwind and relax.

Welcome to The Roundtree, Amagansett; come just as you are. The modernized historic property opened in 2020 and is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Historic property next door.

Located at 273 Main Street, right at the Hamptons Jitney stop, steps away from Amagansett’s restaurants and boutiques. Rows of colorful bikes with signature baskets await for biking to the beach or carrying your farm stand produce.

The Roundtree’s magnificent landscaped grounds, two acres surrounded by open farmland, conjure scenes of an outdoor wedding or a private event.

Families and pets are welcome; the hotel offers pack and plays for babies and small children and can arrange for a babysitter service for a night out.

The Roundtree is intimate, with just 15 rooms- 5 stand-alone cottages and 10 rooms.

An exceptionally comfortable mattress, Frette linens and slippers, Matouk towels, and Grown Alchemist bath products add a touch of elegance. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Love the fridge stocked with beverages and a snack box with local potato chips and treats.

I can’t resist the chocolate chip cookies served every afternoon and S’mores prepared nightly around the firepit.

A complimentary continental breakfast is served outdoors in the garden surrounded by the bluest hydrangeas.

The hotel has a beach sticker if you’d like to take your car to one of the local beaches.

Even better, The Roundtree buggy shuttles guests to Atlantic beach from 10:00 a.m. to

8 p.m. with a complete beach day set up with chairs, towels, umbrellas, beach toys, and ice coolers. Just call when you’re ready to come back to the hotel.

Walk along Main St. to Amber Waves Farm amberwavesfarm.org, the celebrated farm, market, café, and bakery. There are so many restaurants to choose from; the hotel will assist with reservations. Guests are welcome to take out dinner and bring it home to the hotel. The staff will set a candlelit table for a private outdoor dining.

The Roundtree connects with guests in a very special way.

Signature experiences include a private tour of North Fork wineries or The Parrish Museum and a guided walking tour of Amagansett. In-room massages, private trainer sessions, and a golf outing can be arranged.

Interested in volunteering at a local charity during your stay? The Roundtree will connect you with the Animal Rescue Fund or the East Hampton Food Pantry.

The Lemonade Stand Program is an opportunity for The Roundtree’s youngest guests to raise money for a charity of their choice. The hotel provides the supplies and will set up the stand on Main Street (guests bring the lemonade.) Advance reservation is required, and each booking is for a 3-hour time slot with a maximum of 3 children. A parent or guardian must be on site.

Looking for a unique venue for a private conference for 20 or a team-building retreat? The staff can organize a range of group activities, such as a chartered fishing excursion, a vineyard tour with wine tasting, a private yoga session, and even a clambake dinner.

The Roundtree, Amagansett is a refreshing, easygoing stay, ideal for creating your own Hamptons experience.
